Road-construction aggregates – as the name suggests – are materials intended for application in the construction and repair of various road sections. A specific feature of road-construction is the multiplicity of types and mixtures of various used materials to ensure mechanical strength and, most of all, safety for every user of a given road. Road-construction aggregates can best be defined as granular bulk materials of different origins (natural, synthetic, organic or non-organic). They occur in multiple versions, and each of them is characterised by some individual feature necessary for efficient road surface construction.<\/p>\n
The most commonly used aggregates include:

\n– calcium aggregates
\n– quartzite aggregates
\n– key aggregate (shredded by means of various mechanical processes)
\n– gravel, sand, shale (mixed with other materials, making a compact and appropriate structure, e.g. with concrete)<\/p>\n
Each of the types is available in an appropriate form – after the shredding or mixing process – and dedicated to a specific application and in a specified road surface layer. Road-construction aggregates are very important, since road construction not only ensures the safety of road users, but, and most of all, ensures smooth functioning in every aspect of life. Therefore, companies specialising in the sale and use of aggregates cannot complain about the lack of interest in their offers (unless their run their businesses in an unprofessional way).
